Welcome 2021...Welcome.
Hello.. So nice to see you. 2021 right. Yeah, we have been expecting you for a while. Thank you so much for turning up.
My first post of 2021... Took me a while to post this as schools have flung open their big gates for us to walk in. The experience is a whole new vibe.
2021,an year in which we are sweeping of the excess dusted down by 2020. An year of high hopes and expectations. A time that people are really looking forward to.
Things are getting back to normal. ( I don't think so). People have become more cautious and concerned. (That's a total lie). Progress, development, all that jazz is back on track. (Seriously, who am I kidding?).
The recipe for 2020 was so iconic. The amount of negativity, loss, alienation, one that's never ever seen before and hope never to be seen again. And so the pressure to own 2021 is off limits.
New year is always the time to start fresh and new. People start putting up charts of resolutions, it would be a miracle if they even accomplish half of it. But this year, everyone's taking it with ease. I mean, it's hard to find motivation when we're sitting at home and spending most of our time eating and watching Netflix.
Social media has been quite this year. There were no signs of '2021 is gonna be my year' posts. I guess the influencer community learnt a lesson after all. It was high time.
As I mentioned, schools have reopened. But it's all so new and unfamiliar, takes a long time getting used to. Different timings, minimal peer interaction, strict social distancing, the mask itself is a burden enough.
It feels incredibly lonely sitting alone in the alloted seats. It's bizarre not being able to have proper communication. Our friends are all here, we are all together at last. Yet, it feels extremely far apart.
It will definetely take some time for the wounds to heal. We will need some getting used to. We are all ecstatic on the arrival of 2021, but it's not all over. We still have a long way to complete recovery. It's not yet time to forsake our responsibility to be cautious and careful.
Having said that, it definetely is a relief to be stepping out of the house once in a while. The realisation hit me hard of how much I missed the air and the sun and the noise of the streets. It does give you the vibe that a horrible year has gone by and we are going to be alright.
Now, that is always something to look forward to. It feels like a pat on the back consoling and assuring you that the sun will shine on us.
So let's pray and hope for our good health and safety. Let's not forget to be responsible and an asset to the society as a social being.
Let me know if all of you have come up with your resolutions and how it's going. Also don't forget to subscribe to notifications and follow my blog.
I might be taking a break once in a while because studies are an important priority and recently I find myself a bit occupied with that. Exams are round the corner. But I'll always try my best to post whenever I can.
Comment down about any topics you would like me to write about.
Hope you all stay safe, healthy and happy.
