Right... Let's start with the ALPHAs

First blog post.. Finally! Took a long time to get here. And since I'm a sort-of sentimentalist , I decided to start by acquainting the ALPHAs in our lives...       Our Parents.

I don't know about you guys... But I do love waking up to the high pitched screams of my name in the morning... HEAVEN!

And the first thought crossing my mind is to utilize all my energy and yell back... But she had been screaming my name, half asleep, since an hour ago so that 'I' wake up.. Appreciatable.. Don't you think?

For as long as I can remember, mothers are known to be selfish. They want their kids to be the scriptors of greatness on the walls of time. They take advantage of their privileged position to rant about our faults.
And always have counter opinions to anything we might want to do.

Believe me.. I know..

But when we come upon the edge of a cliff, they don't cease to help pull you back. They stand by us when we are helpless. We are their best creation, their happiness and comfort, their glimpse of hope. And one day we will be thankful for their existence.

I could go on and on and on.. But we have to move on to our second Alpha.

Now.. This man... Trust me folks when I say long distance relationship sucks. Since he is abroad, sometimes I feel like I get to see Santa Claus more often than him. I cannot express how much I miss having him with me.

Being a girl, I can definetely relate to all the daughters out there who worship their fathers. And no surprise... They're our best friend and companion, very free and non restricting, unlike our mothers of course. They let us be on our own and are content with any level of achievement that we acquire. But then again, it doesn't mean that they don't care. They are always concerned about us and very much like our mothers have high expectations too.. But they may not be as expressive. And then again, when we find ourselves up against a force unmatched, they wouldn't think twice to morphe as shields to protect us. Our safety is their responsibility.. And that's a fact.

Parents love us, not because we are smart or well groomed, but only because of one and one reason only - that we are their kids. Their love is the most honest and selfless and no matter where we are, who we become or what we aspire to be, we will always remain the twinkle in their eyes. We can always approach them for anything no matter what - be it Today, Tomorrow or Forever.

I'll have endless strings of words to trace out the relevance and essence of parenthood and how all of us, as individuals, can resonate with each other as kids and being brought up, on every spectrum of the matter. But of course, I should learn to put a stopper somewhere. So with endless gratitude to God, life and my parents, let me draw the curtains on today's post.

Always love your parents, because deep inside we know they love us unconditionally...
